GJAOC Luncheons are typically held quarterly at the Santa Ana Elks Lodge. Generally, general meetings start at 11:00 am while lunch will be served at 11:30 am. Dates and times, particularly many months out, may be changed as needed but will be updated here as soon as possible.

Program and Speaker

Our speaker for March 5 is Michelle Estrada, Community Engagement Manager of the Orangewood Foundation. The Orangewood Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides innovative services to empower and uplift young people who face challenges across Orange County stemming from foster care, homelessness and trafficking backgrounds. The foundation is working towards a future where every young person thrives. For more information about the organization, see their website at orangewoodfoundation.org.

Lunch

Parking– Remember that parking in front of the building is reserved for Elks Members only and we are to park on the outskirts of the building, on either the north or east side. Any disabled can park up front in the marked stalls.

Membership Dues– If you haven’t yet paid your GJAOC membership dues for the current July 2025 to June 2026 year, you can do so at the Luncheon. Dues are $20. NOTE: New members who just finished their Grand Jury service June 30 get the 1st year free!

Payment– Lunch is $25 for dues paying members, current Grand Jurors, and court staff; $35 for members who have not paid their dues and guests. You may pay by cash (exact change preferred) or check (made out to GJAOC) at the door. Please note that we no longer accept credit cards. Also note there is an ATM on site for those who need to obtain cash.

Select your meal option from below. Note there are 4 to choose from. The venue asks we get a head count to them a week before the event so please reply to the email that has been sent to all members or send an email to rsvp@gjaoc.org by close of business Thursday, February 26. You will ALWAYS receive an email confirming your selection. If you do not receive a conformation email by a few days after you send your RSVP, please resend to ensure your reservation is counted.

Appetizer- Caesar salad or cup of soup (for those having the entree salad Option 3)
Entree

  • Option 1- Yankee Pot Roast with brown gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables
  • Option 2- Chicken Florentine finished with spinach, chopped tomatoes and Alfredo sauce. With rice pilaf and vegetables
  • Option 3- Chicken & Avocado Salad with vegetable garnish & dressings on the side
  • Option 4- Vegan/Vegetarian Penne Pasta made with red lentils with tomato sauce & roasted vegetables
  • Dessert- Warm peach cobbler a la mode

Drinks- Coffee, iced tea, water
