In lieu of a 2Q17 Newsletter, we proudly reproduce a part of the results of an effort of the Grand Jurors’ Association of Orange County in 1988.  At that time in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Orange County,  the organization undertook to re-create the lost, final report of the 1st Orange County Grand Jury of 1890 through research with local historians, newspaper archives and other resources.  The result is a fascinating look into an Orange County of the past.  We owe a debt of gratitude to the GJAOC members of 29 years ago for this valuable contribution to the history of Orange County.  Just click the here to go back in time…
